Beautiful day in Meadow Lakes yesterday. Sunny, maybe 38F – the snow is melting. I think we lost a foot of snow cover over the peonies, just 2 more to go. We’ve been working on a USDA loan to build a bunk house this summer. The last component is a stamp of approval from NRCS (National Resources Conservation Service) addressing any potentially “highly erodible soils” we may have. Because we brought in so much topsoil to start with, I think we might get the stamp of approval right away. If not, we’ll need a conservation plan. Things are looking good though. I was happy to be out with the sunshine. Dreaming of June! Will post bunk house plans next week.
